モーター駆動の軸に固定されており、作品が90度または180度回転する大型絵画です。絵画が反転すると、その絵画は二重性を現
し、曲がりくねった道を行くとらえどころのない線が、別の絵画へと変わります。「くちばしに魚をくわえたアヒル」は「耳の間
にニンジンを挟んだウサギ」に、「丸太のこぎり」が「ワニの愛 」になるなど、作品を回転することで絵画が変わります。

This is a collection of works by the artist Cornelius de Bill Baboul, published in conjunction with his exhibition at Gagosian Gallery.
The pieces featured here are preparatory studies for large-scale paintings. Each work is mounted on a 220 × 220 cm aluminum frame and is attached to a motorized axis that allows the artwork to rotate 90 or 180 degrees. As the paintings flip, they reveal their dual nature?elusive, winding lines shift and morph, transforming one image into another.
For example, a duck with a fish in its beak transforms into a rabbit with a carrot between its ears. A log saw turns into a crocodile in love. The simple act of rotation brings out an entirely new painting, hidden within the first.
