すべてシルクスクリーン印刷で1点1点刷られています。アートブックを読むカエルのモチーフは、マルクスが昨年TABFに参加した際、会場周辺で蛙のイラストをよく見かけたという清澄白河の街の印象と、清澄庭園にある松尾芭蕉の句碑「古池や蛙飛びこむ水の音」からインスピレーションを得ています。」
Limited-Edition Tote Bag for the Tokyo Art Book Fair
We’re excited to release a limited number of exclusive tote bags for the Tokyo Art Book Fair.
Available in two colors?green and white?each tote features contrasting bi-color handles and is individually hand-printed using silk screen techniques.
The design features a frog reading an art book, inspired by artist Markus’s experience at last year’s TABF. While exploring the Kiyosumi-Shirakawa neighborhood, he was struck by the abundance of frog illustrations, as well as the famous haiku by Matsuo Bash? engraved in Kiyosumi Garden:
“An old pond?
a frog leaps in,
the sound of water.”

"Stefan Marx is a hamburg based artist. He create drawing that attracts the crowd of people not only in skate boarding, fashion or music but also people in art and public. Once you see his art, you know that it is done by Stefan. His drawing has originality and there are elements that you can`t stop loving it. He create drawing of things that he loves and it will never stop. His love towards animal and plane is covered by many international magazines, his own books, zine, music record sleeves, poster, and campaign with brands. His own T-shirts label `The lousy livin company` has been distributed world wide and his art work has been shown internationally. Often, you can find his books and zines through Swiss Art publishing house Nieves.
ステファンマルクスは、ドイツ・ハンブルグを拠点に活躍するアーティスト・イラストレーターです。ドローイング、スケートボード、本、スケッチブックなど、彼が「愛するもの」を活動源とし、作品集の出版、アートエキシビション、CD カバーのデザインなど幅広い分野で才能を発揮しています。ドローイングや絵を通して彼の世界観、思想、スケートボーダーとしてのインディー精神を表現し、独自の目線で世界を描いています。また、インディペンデントT シャツレーベル『THE LOUSY LIVINCOMPANY』を立ち上げ、少数生産ながらクオリティー・クリエイティビティの高いT シャツをデザインもしています。これまでに数々の作品集が出版されており、2007 年には最新作品集「IWait Here For You Forever as Long as It Takes」がスイスのアート出版社Nieves から発売。"
