        This publication is a collection of works created by Ema Gaspar during her residency in Hokuto City, Yamanashi Prefecture.
        Interwoven throughout the book are photographs of the diverse plants and landscapes that influenced her, alongside draft pages from the sketchbooks she used during the creative process. The volume allows readers to trace the journey of each work’s completion while feeling the warmth and intimacy of Ema’s artistic practice.

        Ema Gaspar was born in Almada, Portugal, currently based in Tokyo. Starting from personal experiences, they explore the inner layers of memory and emotion, expressing fragments of them through colored pencils. Through vivid, rave-colored characters and fantastical scenes, they depict a world where beauty and absurdity coexist."
